It belonged to E. Georgiana Myers. Throughout, she referred to her husband as "Fay," which turned out to be his middle name, Myron Fay Myers. Her diary is a treasure from the past and a slice of life from 1932. Originally from Rochester, NY, Georgiana lived in Venice for 22 years and passed away in 1946 at age 78. Mr. Myers passed in 1953. The couple had no children. The Venice Museum & Archives can now update the accession records for this valuable donation. Thanks, too, to Tampa Channel 13 for sharing the mystery with their audience." - Facebook post by Rhonda Rogers on April 30th, 2020 UPDATE TO THE UPDATE: Glenn Stephens was the Venice resident with the amazing memory who identified the author of the diary.
